Cancer research jewellery... join the fight for women's survival
I created my pink camouflage bead in order to create jewellery which will be sold to help fight cancer.
If you purchase any of the pink camouflage jewellery either on-line or from my Saturday stall on the Art & Craft Market in Trinity Street, Cambridge, then half of the proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research UK, a UK based charity which is the biggest single funder of research into breast cancer.
The pink camouflage beads are nugget shaped rather than uniformly round. I have commandeered the melon baller from my kitchen. After making a roughly round shaped bead, I make indentations on the bead with this new tool, the work marks are then melted in and it leaves an gentle organic shape which I am calling "dimpled nugget"
