Red Mist jewellery ...
This page has been created in conjunction with my attempt to live without palm oil. My attempts to do so are diaried in my Free Me of Palm Oil blog. The continued clearance of rainforest for palm oil plantations is leading to loss of habitat for Orangutans, tigers and many other species, threatening their already endangered existence on the planet.
If you purchase any of the red mist jewellery either on-line or from my Saturday stall on the Art & Craft Market in Trinity Street, Cambridge, then half of the proceeds will be donated to the Orangutan Foundation, a UK based charity which protects Orangutan habitat, working with local communities and promoting research and education.
So far, donations have been as follows:
23 Dec, 2009 - £45.00
30 Nov, 2009 - £6.00
31 Oct, 2009 - £6.00
06 Oct, 2009 - £45.50
24 Aug, 2009 - £48.00
07 Jul, 2009 - £32.00
28 Jul, 2009 - £50.00
17 Jun, 2009 - £37.50
Total to date: £250.00
